A note from us

We'd love for you to be there.

Eight years, one very small apartment, a little blue house and a cat with strong opinions later, we're getting married — in a barn under the magnolias, a winding half hour south of Nashville.

Everything you need for the weekend is right here: the schedule, where to stay, how to get there, and a spot to tell us what you're eating and which song will get you dancing.

Our story

Six chapters. Swipe or use the arrows to flip through how we got here.

Sam and Jordan sharing one umbrella at a rainy farmers market

01 · Spring 2019

Two strangers, one umbrella

A sudden downpour at a Saturday farmers market in East Nashville. Jordan had an umbrella; Sam had a flat of strawberries and no plan. We shared both.

Two coffees, a pastry and held hands on a café table by a rainy window

02 · Summer 2019

Coffee that ran four hours

Our first date was meant to be a quick coffee. The café closed around us, and we kept talking on the curb until the streetlights came on.

A house key handed over in front of a little blue house

03 · Fall 2022

Keys to a little blue house

A creaky porch, a fiddle-leaf fig that refuses to die, and a living room we painted three times. We learned we can build furniture without arguing. Mostly.

Biscuit the tabby cat lounging on the porch cushions

04 · Winter 2023

Then came Biscuit

A rescue tabby with a torn ear and strong opinions. He picked us at the shelter by sitting on Sam's keys and refusing to move. He runs the house now.

Sam and Jordan hiking hand in hand toward a foggy sunrise overlook

05 · Spring 2026

A question at sunrise

On a quiet morning hike at Radnor Lake, Sam stopped at the overlook, fumbled with a very small box and asked. Jordan said yes before the question was finished.

Two hands together, one wearing a new ring, under magnolia leaves

06 · June 5, 2027

And now, the best part

We'd love for you to be there when we say it out loud — under the magnolias, surrounded by everyone we love.

Good to know

Questions

We adore your little ones, but this is an adults-only celebration (nursing babies excepted). Ask us — we have a list of trusted local sitters.

If your invitation says “and guest,” absolutely — add them when you RSVP. Otherwise we're keeping it to the names on the envelope so we can fit everyone in the barn.

The ceremony moves inside the barn with the big doors thrown open. We'll text everyone by noon on Saturday if we switch. (It rained the day we met — we consider it good luck.)

We're having an unplugged ceremony — please keep phones tucked away so you're fully there with us. Snap away from cocktail hour on. We'll share the full gallery here afterward.

Garden formal: suits or dresses in soft, light colors. The ceremony is on grass, so block heels or flats will be your friend. Evenings in June are warm — leave the wool at home.

Paths are gravel and grass. A golf cart will run between the lot, the meadow and the barn all evening — just wave down anyone in an evergreen tie.
